I discovered and fell in love with yoga in 2008 as a senior in college. I had no idea the impact this would have on my life. After a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2015, I found myself turning to yoga to assist me with staying mindful and aware of all things going on in my body. Yoga brings me such peace and joy. I find courage, strength, and flexibility in my practice as I choose to fully support myself with the use of props or simply push it to an edge – a place of self-discovery. In my class, I invite my students to do the same by exploring what feels good in their bodies as we move through sequences targeting mind, body, and spirit. I also encourage everyone to set an intention and practice gratitude as we move through class. It’s my intent that you leave my class with a new sense of awareness, inspiration, and gratefulness for all things on and off of your mat.
